Anthony J. Looney, APRN, is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in critical care in Lexington, Kentucky. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Kentucky. In his role, Anthony is dedicated to providing high-quality critical care services, ensuring patient safety and comfort during hospitalizations. His clinical interests include perioperative care. Anthony is committed to staying up to date on the latest developments in acute care, participates in continuing education and professional development opportunities. He is known for his compassionate patient care and collaborative approach within multidisciplinary care teams. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Anthony is actively involved in education initiatives and enjoys mentoring nursing students and junior practitioners. His dedication to both his patients and the broader medical community underscores his commitment to advancing healthcare standards in Kentucky.

• Healthcare: The system is broken, not because of providers but because of profit-driven insurance companies. Anthony will work to ensure affordable, equitable healthcare for all Kentuckians.
• People over profits: The Looney for Kentucky campaign is about putting working families first, not corporations. While the wealthy profit, working-class Kentuckians struggle. Anthony will fight to protect social security benefits, veterans’ benefits, and the most vulnerable individuals among us!
